Dr. Goodson attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her small animal rotating internship at Colorado State University. She then worked in a busy general practice in the Chicago area for several years. She completed her residency at AVS, where she continues to practice as a small animal internal medicine specialist, focusing on treating dogs and cats with cancer. Her goal is to use state of the art diagnostic and treatment modalities, as well as integrated medical options, to improve the quality of life for dogs and cats diagnosed with cancer. She enjoys volunteering her time and energy to help international veterinary missions. She recently traveled to Uganda to vaccinate dogs and cats for Mission Rabies. Dr. Goodson is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
